CSI Europe Cruise Interiors Expo Returns

The Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe (CSI Europe) returns to Hamburg on December 2 and 3. Registration for free visitor passes is now open for cruise line design teams, shipyards, design studios, and procurement specialists.

The event is Europe's only trade fair dedicated solely to cruise ship interior design and architecture. Organizers claim it is the industry's most beautiful show, filled with detailed finishes, innovative design solutions, and new product launches.

Over 300 exhibitors are set to participate. Highlighted suppliers include natural material specialist Jacob Jürgensen Wood, spa design firm Fabio Alemanno Design, furniture designer Bull & Stein, and galley equipment provider Franke Kaffeemaschinen.

Event Zones and Focus

The Hospitality@CSI zone will again integrate guest experience and operations with the event's core design focus. This reflects the collaborative nature of actual ship design processes.

A spotlight will fall on exhibitors supplying the yacht industry. This follows the launch of the Four Seasons I, the brand's first vessel in the yacht-like cruise market. Another luxury brand, Mercedes-Maybach, has announced an agreement with shipyard Lloyd Werft to develop a 155-meter superyacht billed as an exclusive members' club at sea.

Conference and Workshops

The accompanying conference is the only European program exclusively for the cruise interiors community. It aims to address design challenges across the supply chain and spark conversations for the coming year.

For the second consecutive year, a shipbuilding track will run alongside the main conference. Visitors can also participate in the Sustainable Design Summit, an interactive workshop focused on developing sustainable solutions relevant to the industry.

A new feature for the European event is the Design Deck content and installation space. After a successful debut at CSI Americas, it will host design studios and outfitters who will share insights on future trends and collaboration on design briefs.

Awards Ceremony

On the evening of the second day, the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards will be held on the show floor. The ceremony, which celebrates creativity, innovation, and beauty in cruise interiors, will present awards in 13 categories. These include Best Dining Space, Best Brand Original Project, and Best Interior Product of the Year.
