Cattle Armchair Joins New Dezeen Showroom Products
A metal-framed armchair inspired by Australian rural structures is featured among 13 new furnishings and surfaces in Dezeen's latest shows.

A chair informed by rustic agricultural construction common in rural Australia is among 13 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom. The platform's latest update includes seating, tiles, lighting, and a terracotta radiator.
Designer Gibson Karlo and furniture brand Design By Them created the Cattle armchair. Its metal frame references rustic structures built in the Australian outback. The frames come in glossy deep burgundy or camel beige finishes. Draped, plump cushions are available in a curated selection of Kvadrat and Maharam fabrics.
Seating and Lounge Designs
Several other seating pieces debuted. Danish brand Vipp introduced the Vipp453 Swivel chair. It features a minimal, flowing aluminium frame combined with an upholstered backrest and seat pad. The chair is part of a wider collection of versatile task chairs. It has a four-star, 360-degree rotating base that culminates in either castors or gliders.
For Cozmo, designers Anne-mette Bartholin and Morten Ernst created the Ginkgo lounge chair. Its design recalls the look of the leaves of the gingko tree. The chair features a lobed seat and backrest supported by a tri-legged base. It was originally designed in the early 2000s.
Patricia Urquiola designed the Nina lounge chair for Andreu World. The statement piece references both a Baroque painting and 1970s-era design. It combines a hammered-texture hard shell with an amorphous upholstered seat and backrest.
Finnish company Khoy released its signature Khoy sofa bed. It is a seat that turns into a floor bed with a simple unzip. The product comes in sizes from single all the way up to king, and in a variety of finishes.
Surface and Tile Collections
Multiple tile and surface collections were launched. Italian brand Ceramiche Keope presented the Grace tiles series. French limestone is the main reference point. The tiles come in various size formats and shapes, with a handful of subtly different colourways. Each has a mottled surface finish.
Iris Ceramica released the Breccia Rosa 4D ceramic slab tile. It looks like rosy pink marble. The product comes in a choice of two thicknesses and has a variety of applications.
Swiss brand Vitra launched the Resincode tile collection. The porcelain tiles emulate the granular texture of concrete. The collection comes in seven colourways and is suitable for various applications.
HIMACS added five new colourways to its terrazzo-inspired collection. The new options are Terrazzo Ulivo, Terrazzo Nuvola, Terrazzo Sorrento, Terrazzo Marsala, and Terrazzo Selva. HIMACS Terrazzo features a playfully flecked surface with subtle colour variations.
Lighting and Heating
Felix Pöttinger Design Studio worked with German lighting brand Maytoni on the Topo portable lamp. It is a rechargeable table lamp with a tiltable head. The lamp comes in black, light blue, brown, and polished metal finishes. It includes a translucent diffuser that throws a warm glow.
Designer Sebastian Herkner created the Terre radiator for heating design brand Tubes. Terracotta is the primary material for this minimalist wall-mounted unit. The radiator has a glossy finish and is available in various neutral and vivid colourways. It can be mounted solo or in rhythmic groups.
Belgian flooring company Modulyss introduced the First Sway carpet tiles and broadloom. A brushed pattern of muted tones decorates them. The product comes in 18 colourways and forms part of the wider First collection.
